Pitru Paksha – Honoring Our Forefathers with Seva
Pitru Paksha is a sacred fortnight in the month of Bhadrapada dedicated to remembering and offering gratitude to one’s ancestors. Devotees observe shraddha, tarpan, and acts of charity to bring peace to departed souls. Offering annadana, gau seva, or temple donations during this period not only uplifts the forefathers but also brings prosperity, harmony, and spiritual advancement to the family.
